Temple University’s chapter of Best Buddies is an international organization devoted to inclusion, diversity, and one-on-one friendships between students with and without disabilities. When a member of the board approached us with desperate need for a fun T-shirt design for club members, we had just the idea. While incorporating elements of Best Buddies and their mission statement and core values, we decided to honor not only Temple University, but elements of Philadelphia in our design. Our lead designer took charge with hand-drawn illustrations and symbols that not only bring awareness to our great city, but key components of community, inclusion, and leadership.
